Well, the time has come to close out the Alaska chapter in my life. sighs. It was a wonderful trip, but I have pictures to oogle over when I want to remember!
Time to focus on our upcoming trip to Carmel. It’s actually my husband’s business trip which makes it my camera time!
Bye Alaska! It’s been fun!

What stunning photographs. What type of camera do you have? I use the Sony Nex 3, but wonder if upgrading to a DSLR is worth it…

Thank you! I have a Nikon D7100. Most of the pics were taken with a Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II Nikkor Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon DX-Format lens. It was the easiest one to use traveling since it provided the most versatility. Also I use Photoshop CS6 with various plug ins.

Love all the pics but the Sitka pic is breathtaking. Hope to get there someday.
