I’m really enjoying trying my hand at architecture photos lately! It’s a whole new world and I’m slowly learning my way with this new endeavor.
The other night when we were in San Francisco, we went to the Hyatt Regency which is known for it’s very modern interior. I hadn’t been inside this hotel in years since I worked right across the street.
Most glass elevators are on the outside of hotels, but these are inside which are very striking in color against the concrete walls, and with the Christmas decorations I thought they made a nice holiday picture. I was getting a bit dizzy staring up at those elevators trying to get the right shot!

These lighted elevators look like over-sized lanterns against the walls of the building…very intriguing.

Of course, I love these ones in particular because of their role in the delightful Mel Brooks movie High Anxiety! 😉

I will admit I haven’t seen that movie. Now I’ll have to check it out. 🙂
