A Walk in the Woods

I have one more photo of my visit to Muir Woods that I’d like to share.  I remember the smell of the woods the big trees around me and I wonder why I don’t visit this place more often.  It truly is a beautiful place!

  1. You have some marvellous lighting going on here. The light through part of the trees and across the path. Nice detail and colour as a result – was this HDR?

  2. As I said on G+…great capture and lighting. Didn’t know you were using Nik Efex. That just happens to be my next purchase. Are you pretty happy with it? Worth the investment? Ok…pretty obvious by your photos. Have a good (dry) day Laura. 🙂

  3. It truly looks a beautiful place to visit looking at the photo…

  4. This looks like the same shot I got last year. I like how the trees dwarf the fence.

  5. We were there in 2011 and I wouldn’t miss a chance to go back, this time without any time restrictions. I was stationed in the bay area from 1966 to 1968 and I absolutely loved it.

  6. Take me there. I want to be there now. (Sorry, I’m channeling Veruka Salt from Willy Wonka). 😀
    That is so very beautiful.

  7. Beautiful and serene. Love the colours here.

  8. I can’t add too much more except that I am enchanted by the woods and your photo of them!!

  9. So beautiful, thank you for sharing this.

  10. Beautiful image! Looks like a wonderful place to walk. I amazed that the path is fenced. Guess they are serious about keeping people on the paths.
