Interesting thought. I have a smugmug site where people can buy photos from, however, promoting the site is another animal all together. I have links to all my sites (wordpress, smugmug, google+) everywhere but only two photos have ever been sold. lol.
Hiya! And thank you! We went falconing yesterday but before the experience started, I saw this owl. I’ll post some falcon pics in the next couple days. Hopefully if any are decent! I’m not used to shooting action. I need more practice.

Very interesting lighting on the owl. Did you use a flashlight?
February 18, 2014 at 9:46 am
No flashlight, just regular ol’ daylight. Of course I added tonal contrasts and a vignette. I think you’re seeing the vignette.

Thank you! I never thought about framing this, but it would be cute in a kitchen. 🙂
February 18, 2014 at 11:12 am
Yes, it would. I also think you could sell it commercially and people would buy it.Think about it.

I have an owl that lives in the redwood tree outside my window.. He hoots and the cats jump…
February 18, 2014 at 11:45 am
Certainly, out of the ordinary. A wild owl? Or a pet?
February 18, 2014 at 2:48 pm
Well, not quite a pet but more like a place for him to go. He was at a falconry place we were visiting yesterday.
February 18, 2014 at 11:56 am
How wonderful. Of all the owls, the barn owl is my favourite. 🙂
February 18, 2014 at 2:47 pm
