Sometimes nature mimics other things, like when you look up into the sky and see a cloud that looks like a swan. Β In this case, the evening light and the shape of this tree trunk reminded me of something else………..What do you see?

  4. Definitely an elephant foot. Also, I see a cat-like figure in that second bole. Can’t be sure it’s dancing. Lovely post.

  5. This is such a neat image Laura. I think it looks like elephant feet, but that’s just me, lol.
    Love the detail, lighting, and especially the composition. It’s as if I’m expecting one of those “legs” to take a step forward.

  9. Looks like feet to me. To get even more detailed, it looks like the feet and legs of a parent standing there, scolding their child (the little tree in front).

  10. Okay, I did not read any of the other comments before posting mine as I didn’t want to be swayed. But I see an elephant’s foot. Great fun photo, great eye, and love the light! (And now that I’m going back and reading them, see I wasn’t the only one who saw that :))

  14. I see a hollow on the right side of the trunk. It would be perfect for some animal to hide.

  18. I was thinking of the Ents (tree creatures) in Lord of the Rings. When I looked at your photo I saw a pair of legs.

  19. Well I immediately saw two little kid tree feet leaning against momma tree, probably watching a tree parade. But I live with my three small grandchildren, so I see little people everywhere.
