THIS IS A SCHEDULED POST

You might’ve seen my B&W photo of the sunflower which was submitted to the Monochrome Madness Challenge a few days ago.  As promised, here is the color version in all its glory.  I love sunflowers.  They are so perky!

  1. Laura, I loved this version of the sunflower. Beautiful composition! Here more sun than flower. Very elegant! Thank you! 🙂

  2. Color works great for this shot as well…the sign of a perfect image – B&W or color makes no difference. Nice work!

  3. Beautiful, Laura!!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

  4. Really nice. I planted some of these this summer. I’ll see if I can post some photos of them soon.

  5. Stunning color contrast and absolute clarity. Beautiful.

  6. Both versions are glorious. I’m not sure which one I like better! Maybe this one has the slight edge. It just seems a bit more powerful of a shot in all its colorful presence!

  7. Reblogged this on B.E.S.T. Arts Gallery and commented:

  13. both the colour and the monochrome image are beautiful. the colour one is so vibrant, and the monochrome draws us in with subtle tones and shades. lovely work once again.
