A lot of times we don’t know what’s going on with our fellow word pressers behind their blogs. We see posts fly by on our stream and we may like or comment now and again and build a friendship here and there without even knowing the struggles they face.
Today I found out a fellow blogger passed away. I knew nothing of his struggles. He presented himself as a kind man that only wanted to be liked and acknowledged for the beauty he saw and shared.
I’d like to acknowledge him here and say God bless you Ajay. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and I know you are in a better place now.

We are all teachers and students at some point in our lives. The teacher can even be a homeless man as we walk by. Ajay reminded me to appreciate simple kindness. 🙂
August 17, 2014 at 8:55 pm
I saw an announcement of the same thing in another place, but I had no idea he was a blogger. He must have had a good following and maybe someone will be able to preserve his work. Was he a photographer too?
August 18, 2014 at 9:08 am
Yes a photographer and sharer if work he enjoyed. 🙂
August 17, 2014 at 8:56 pm
Not on topic, but how are you doing? Are you still having therapy?
August 17, 2014 at 9:53 pm
I have only just begun my recovery and it takes weeks sometimes months to rehab. I got hole from the hospital Friday. Thanks for asking…time for bed if possible! lol
August 17, 2014 at 9:54 pm
I meant I got home from the hospital….
August 17, 2014 at 9:59 pm

August 17, 2014 at 11:38 pm
Rest in peace, Ajay. Very nice post, Laura. You are right: we browse posts here on WordPress several times a week…and we do see the same pages or faces popping up every now and then. Glad to have known you as a blogger-friend on here, Laura.
August 18, 2014 at 9:01 am
Thank you Mabel…same here.
August 18, 2014 at 5:50 am
I did not know Ajay, but I just went to his blog. Not long ago he posted this:
Old friends pass away,
new friends appear
It is just like the days
An old day passes,
a new day arrives
The important thing is to
make it meaningful
a meaningful friend
or a meaningful day
Dalai Lama
It seems appropriate and you Laura have made your friendship with him meaningful. R.I.P. Ajay….

Thank you for posting this Sharon. I was consumed with my surgery and hadn’t been checking blogs consistently so I missed that. I wouldn’t even say I had friendship….I would say I noticed his kindness and that it will be missed. His post makes me cry.
August 18, 2014 at 6:23 am
It is nice you get to know your readers that well. It takes quite a bit of time getting to know them. I am wondering about one older gentleman now that has not posted in months. I doubt I will ever find out too.
August 18, 2014 at 9:11 am
Awwwe…someone else told me that they were connected here with a blogger who was going in for surgery and they never heard from them again! Scary.
August 18, 2014 at 1:07 pm
I’m so sorry Laura. Loosing someone is always heart braking. My thoughts, prayers and hugs to you and his family. 😦
August 18, 2014 at 1:20 pm
He seemed like a kind man. Thanks Jamie.
August 18, 2014 at 1:23 pm
I hope his family is doing well.
August 18, 2014 at 1:20 pm
OMG…I’ve visited Ajay’s blog often. I’m so sorry to hear the news.
August 18, 2014 at 1:24 pm
I know :(((. If you read down in the comments Sharon Cummings pasted what he wrote just before he passed. It’s so sad.
August 18, 2014 at 6:47 pm
A poignant reminder to cherish what we have, while we have it. Carry on, Ajay!
August 18, 2014 at 7:00 pm
🙂
August 18, 2014 at 7:17 pm
I was shocked too, Laura. When I found out, I cried. And I dedicated one of my posts to Ajay. I didn’t know him well, for he only came into my life just lately. Yet, he has touched so many on WP and many do mourn for his loss. Thank you, friend, for doing this post. And I hope you are well and all is OK your way! (((HUGS))) Amy
August 18, 2014 at 7:20 pm
Laura, I just read some of the comments and I see you probably shouldn’t even be on here. Please take care of YOU. Rehab is really tough and you need all your energy to pour into that. My prayers and thoughts have been with you every day! Love to you, my friend!!! (((HUGS))) Amy
August 18, 2014 at 7:31 pm
Laura, I just realized I dedicated a post to Robin Williams, whose death really hit me hard. I am still reeling and as a result, here I am thinking I dedicated a post to Ajay. Just too much to take in. I’ve seen posts all over WP about Ajay which I have left comments and I left a comment on Ajay’s site for family. So that being said, I wanted to clear up my words that were not true. Also, someone keeps coming to my site and liking my About page or one of my posts and it is Ajay’s avatar. My heart just about stops when that happens. For real. xx Amy

Is his blog still up? Could you post the link, please?
August 20, 2014 at 11:12 am
I can’t post the link. I’m on my ipad and laid up. Google ajaytao WordPress.
