Bokeh Moon

A new picture but the same subject…BOKEH!  I can’t help myself.  I focused on the olive tree once again and made sure the car reflections were positioned “strategically” in the frame.  This time I tried to make an artful image of it.

  6. Fabulous………..Print it up!!

  7. Excellent! Nicely artful….. 🙂

  8. Fascinating image, Laura!!! I LOVE THIS!!! You are spurring me on! LOL The bokeh challenge! (((HUGS))) Amy

    • There ya go! I’ll look forward to your bokeh! 😀 And thank you 🙂

      • I’m waiting for the appropriate time of day and I have some things in mind to photograph to continue the bokeh hunt. I’m also going to experiment with my new ND filter that I bought specifically for Niagara Falls. I have yet to use it so I want to see what it can do. 🙂 Perfect day to catch the “wind”. It is extremely windy here. Let’s see what slow shutter speeds can do with moving objects. 🙂 Waiting again for the “right light”. xx Amy

  9. I love playing with Bokeh too 🙂 True painting with light!

      • How are getting on with the physio btw?

        • I’m doing pretty good…thanks for asking. Still working on straightening and bending so I can walk normally. Still hobbling but not unusual at this stage. 🙂

          • Recovery always takes time and effort doesn’t it! As long as each day gets a little better you’re going in the right direction 🙂

          • Thank you for saying that. Sometimes it’s depressing but I do know I’m getting better and that’s what I need to keep in my mind.

          • I’m a very impatient patient! There’s never any quick fix to anything sadly 😦 At least we have access to healthcare though! I often have to remind myself how lucky I am compared to some people in the world. Now if someone could just come up with the complete body transplant, that would be great 😉

          • Oh I know what you mean about healthcare. We seriously are lucky. Yesterday I watched 60 Minutes and they did a piece on Isis and it was the first time I had a sense of how the region felt about Isis and also how horrific it is over there for the people who are being suppressed. There are 1.5 million refugess that came from Syria into Jordan and are living in tent cities in the dessert and walked MILES to get there! And I complain that my knee replacement hurts. oy! And yes, I definitely need a body transplant! LOL

          • Even some parts of Europe have really bad healthcare issues linked to costs of drugs and appliances! I have an ileostomy and here we get our prescriptions for all ostomy supplies – bags, wipes, stoma paste etc – for free. Some parts of Europe have a lack of funds to supply people so patients often have to make bags last longer than they should and get awful skin problems 😦 We have a UK charity that accepts unwanted ostomy supplies from UK patients to take to charities in Eastern Europe. I wouldn’t be alive now if I’d been born in many other parts of the world!

          • That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing that with me. I think globalization is a good thing when it comes to healthcare in that years and years ago, information was not shared and we lived within the walls of our countries. now, information is shared which means more opportunities for people in other areas…still not perfect and a long way to go but at least it’s moving in the right direction!! I’m happy you were one of the lucky ones!

          • To think that the scientists of the World have come together and may have found a cure for Ebola based upon the Common Cold! I’m all for sharing and combining our resources for a better World 🙂 I’m pretty glad I’m one of the lucky ones too and so happy for you to be able to get a new lease of life too!

    • Thank you Sharon 🙂 I have to say that people like you inspire me to try new things. I can’t compete with the best photographers in the world but maybe I can stand out doing something different.

  16. This is really eerie, yet nice to look at. Well done Laura!

  17. Beautiful tone. It looks like there was a mysterious man face with mustache looking at me, lol.
