My favorite time of year is here. The warm days and the cool nights…ahhh…. These berries bloom on a tree nearby and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of them. Happy Fall everyone!

Great shot the reds really stands out against the greens. We are having a great Autumn here and hoping for a mild winter.
October 9, 2014 at 6:43 am
Thank you Ben. I’m hoping for rain here because we are in a severe drought but heard that we might not get it this winter. 😦
October 9, 2014 at 1:46 am
Excellent macro shot, Laura. The green and red contrast wonderfully. The berries look so real, like they are stuck to my laptop screen. Happy fall. It’s happy spring for me here in Melbourne. Warm days and cool nights too 🙂
October 9, 2014 at 6:44 am
Thank you Mabel. Stuck on your screen eh? 🙂 Just fyi…it is not a macro. It was taken with my 28-300m lens at around 300mm wide open. I love that lens for just this purpose! 🙂 Enjoy your cool nights as well. 🙂
October 10, 2014 at 2:02 am
Ah, my bad then. I need to seriously brush up on my photography skills. Always room for improvement 🙂 Hope the nights don’t get too cool for you!

Oh I hope the rain comes for you. Days are turning grey up north here. Your red berries reminded me of another season to come after the autumn. But the light shining through the leaves and bouncing off the berries says summer where you are is having a hard time saying goodbye. Beautiful Laura.
October 9, 2014 at 8:42 am
Thank you so much. i fear we might be in for a dry winter. I heard something about the weather pattern on the news and it was disheartening but I will pray for rain. Maybe I need to start doing a rain dance! 😉
October 9, 2014 at 8:42 am
