Windswept

Our local mountain, Mt. Diablo, is usually very windy up at the summit.  The mountain is just over 3,800 feet and there can be a dramatic temperature difference from the bottom to the summit.   I love how the wind sweeps over the grass that has yet to turn green.

  28. We were up on a mountain in Salem District of Tamil Nadu India one year and watched the clouds rise from the bottom of the mountain to the summit. Actually it was a cold front that swept in and the clouds literally rolled up the mountain. I did not think of taking a photo then, but now I wished I had.

  29. Beautifully done Laura.

  30. The photograph is absolutely lovely, and I don’t know if I ever mentioned it yet, but I really like your banner. For some reason, it hits that same chord in me that responds so well to Science Fiction novels. It’s beautiful.
