There is something about the Palace of Fine Arts that makes me feel like I’m back in the times of Caesar. Standing across from these grand pillars with the beautiful pond in front, I loved how the clouds brushed the sky and how the rocks surrounding the pond drew my eye to the pillars.

It’s doing ok thanks….still swollen but I’m not surprised. I’m having some good days and doing more so yay for that! Seeing improvement is always a good thing. How is your husband’s knee?

Hi Laura! It sounds like you are still rehabilitating, even though making progress. I know it’s tough. My husband went through difficulties, but now his knee is great. How many months has it been now?

It’s been five months in a week. I’m a slow healer unfortunately but I do know it’s getting better. I remember my right knee taking a year.

We were told that complete healing takes about a year. I takes a lot of courage, even for a lesser surgery. Knees take extra courage. I’ll be checking on your progress from time to time, Laura :-).

I love the new (?) cover photo of the Bay, the bridge, Coit Tower and the city skyline. It’s a view angle I’ve never seen before and the sky colour is beautiful.

Thank you! It’s taken from Fort Baker which is on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s a long exposure and I did the colorization in Photoshop. It was actually a very grey day lol.

This is such a perfect shot. There is so much detail in the scene and my eyes move all around this image without feeling overwhelmed. I’d love to see the colour version too.
