I’m trying to comment just a little bit and hopefully I’ll be back a little bit more using voice activation when possible.

Laura, this is absolutely stunning. I LOVE the way you edited this! Will you tell me your secrets? Please? Fantastic, just fantastic. Are you not feeling well? What happened? I’ve been off of WP for a little bit due to what all I have been through. The last time we communicated, you were feeling so good from the detox you had done. (((HUGS))) Amy
February 8, 2015 at 8:59 am
Hi Amy. 🙂 Thank you for asking. I’m sorry I’ve been so silent. I’m using voice activation right now. I have a neck issue with nerve damage that has been around since an accident in 2006. Once in awhile it flares up and typing becomes impossible. I still feel really good in other respects so hurray for that but it’s made me realize how much time I spend in front of the blog and computer which isn’t a healthy way to be. I hope you’re muddling through the best you can. It’s so difficult when we lose someone we love. As for editing, I happened to write this one down.
But basically, in order: Nik HDR, Topaz Denoise, Topaz Simplify, Topaz Impression, Nik Color Efex. And of course I adjusted the particular presets in each of these. Have a good Sunday. It’s finally raining here!
February 8, 2015 at 9:33 am
To give you HOPE, Laura, I have sustained nerve damage in my lower back and right leg over 20 years ago. Practicing Yoga is bringing strength and Life back into those places that were beginning to die. And about NIK, I don’t think I can get that on my iPad (I believe I have tried) and on my laptop (WHY did I buy windows????) it is not offered, just Mac. *sighs* Hubby and I already talking about getting me another computer with retina screen and selling the one I just bought. I am just not able to edit on this, Laura. Most of my editing is done on my iPad apps. The true colors are not seen on my laptop which frustrates me to no end. Hopefully hubby will go through what we discussed today. He has begun to realize the love/hate people have for Apple, and when he sees how a company makes profits in a way that really isn’t right, he won’t buy those products. I am of the same mind. BUT, man, that retina screen is a MUST. There is no other way to go. There has to be another company that has a comparable screen, Laura. There just has to be. I will keep you in my prayers that your pain subsides. YAY for the rain!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

Don’t get me started on companies. If your hubby feels that way then he probably doesn’t buy much period because they’re all bad lol. But I’m an apple fanatic having all the stuff. What did you say wasn’t offered on Windows? Isn’t Topaz offered on both? And Nik? In fact I’m sure of it. My friend Dan has a windows machine and he has Nik. Yes yoga is good. I used to do it and I haven’t done it in a long time. I bought the 28-day yoga by Richard Hittleman and I was going to start doing it at home and I forgot about it! I’ll have to start because I know I felt better when I was doing it. 🙂
February 8, 2015 at 10:40 am
Laura, I will check it out again. Thanks!! No we really don’t buy much to tell you the truth. The greed in this world is shocking to both of us. We have learned to live with what we have. When we buy, we tend to buy “large” items, like a computer and camera. LOL Please I encourage you, do the Yoga. Better yet find a class that offers the type of Yoga that is right for you. You will do so much better in a class and you will get “high” from the others around you. Cool stuff, I know. I take a class 2-3 times a week. I actually have hubby going along with me now! Tee hee …. IF only you could be a fly on the wall. The man has almost zero flexibility and the groans he makes …. ROFLMAO!!! Yet he is trying! (((HUGS))) Amy

hahahaha omg lol
February 8, 2015 at 10:46 am
*falling off of chair laughing* I must sneak my camera in to take a few pics one of these days. OMG! Funny? And he really thinks he is doing the positions well. Oh, Laura!!! You have NO idea!!!! Hehehehehehe
February 8, 2015 at 10:52 am
Please do! And post on your blog. LOL
February 8, 2015 at 11:10 am
I could probably get away with it cause hubby hardly ever reads my blog unless I ask him to. LOL I have to plan ….
February 8, 2015 at 11:18 am
Definitely. I’ll be waiting with baited breath!
February 8, 2015 at 1:11 pm
Wonderful, Laura. How do you do that?
February 9, 2015 at 6:21 am
Hi Tommy thank you. I brush on various filters like Topaz Simplify and Topaz Impression then use dodging and burning and some light here and there. It’s fun to dabble in it.
February 9, 2015 at 1:15 pm
That’s dedication Laura, wonderful to see that. I just point and shoot. (:o))
February 9, 2015 at 6:40 am
I just realized I had typed the filters in response to Amy who was asking me about this. Here’s the process: “But basically, in order: Nik HDR, Topaz Denoise, Topaz Simplify, Topaz Impression, Nik Color Efex. And of course I adjusted the particular presets in each of these. “
February 9, 2015 at 1:13 pm
I’m lost, Laura. It is pleasing to see you are so dedicated to your work. I just point and shoot.
February 9, 2015 at 4:21 pm
Well in case you do…. 🙂
February 8, 2015 at 5:34 pm
Once again, inspirational, your perseverance as well as your image. Thank you for continuing to share your magic!
February 9, 2015 at 6:23 am
Thank you! I have fun with it for sure. 🙂
