Awhile ago I submitted an image in hopes of being selected to appear in the National Juried Competition called “Fusion” at Arc Gallery in San Francisco. Last night I got the good news that I was one of the ones selected out of thousands who submitted! Some were selected to appear in the gallery and some were selected to appear in the catalog. I was selected for the catalog. The catalog will also be displayed on a monitor in the gallery so not too shabby!
The catalog can be viewed here, Fusion Art Catalog, and I must say I’m humbled. The artwork in here is amazing! I’m featured on page 45, and if you aren’t sick of this photo you will be! I’ve posted it several times on my blog, but I’ll post it here again only because I’d like to share which image was selected.

Along this line I’ve been thinking of submitting some of my photo’s to a show, because some people have told me that I should try it. The problem is that I don’t really know who to send them too or even where to start. The Image of the Stonersville Hotel is one of them. One of the old Schuylkill Canal is another one. I think that they are pretty good, but my opinion might be different than somebody who is judging it. Guess that I don’t know unless I try.
I have also down-loaded the Nik HDR Software for a trial period of 15 day’s. So far, I like it and it does do a real nice job. The Stonersville Hotel is one that I processed with the Nik HDR Software. Don’t know if I’m going to keep it, cause it does have a hefty price tag. Regards ~ Les

Thanks for the congrats Les! I didn’t know where to show either until a friend pointed it out. If you google “Calls for Entry” or “Calls for Arists” you will see a bunch of hits come up for different places to enter photogaphy. Usually it costs something per entry. And yes, Nik is not cheap. Enjoy playing with it!
