Here’s another photo from the zoo. This time it’s a Cattle Egret. I actually shot this through a fence but was able to make the fence disappear in photoshop. A little dash of this and that and magically it disappears. Ssshhh….it’s an ancient secret. 😛

May 23, 2015 at 1:25 pm
Thank you so much Livonne. He does have a stern expression!
May 23, 2015 at 6:57 am
Absolutely beautiful! I did the same trick on two of my sanctuary posts , but I’m sure your recipe is faster 😀
May 23, 2015 at 1:25 pm
Thanks so much Tiny! The fence was thin and white so it was easy to make it go away. I think it was just a couple clicks!
May 23, 2015 at 7:42 am
Wow, through a fence you say …
May 23, 2015 at 1:26 pm
Yup…through a fence. Fortunately it was thin and whitish so it was easy to make it go away.

L……the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated! I really am just back lurking about. Had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder just about 2 weeks ago. Going through PT (pain & torture) for two hours three times a week. It is a painfully slow recovery….thanx for noticing that I am back………en theos….jim

May 23, 2015 at 1:52 pm
Superb composition.

May 23, 2015 at 2:40 pm
I do wish I owned and could do photoshop!
May 23, 2015 at 2:48 pm
It comes in handy sometimes!
May 23, 2015 at 3:17 pm
Very nice and well done. One of the things I hate is shooting thru a fence or taking a shot, but there are too many telephone wires in the way. They can totally mess up your shot. My program PSPX7 or Lightroom 5 can get rid of these things, but I would much rather not have to deal with them. 🙂
May 23, 2015 at 3:55 pm
The detail and tone of this image is striking. REally well done PB. Bravo!
May 23, 2015 at 5:02 pm

May 23, 2015 at 5:02 pm
I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you’re referring to?
May 23, 2015 at 5:09 pm
Without getting political Cheney was running everything.. That’s all… They say Bush stood up and said he was number one..
May 23, 2015 at 5:10 pm
I guess I missed how that ties into the Egret or the Bay Area.
May 23, 2015 at 5:12 pm
Oh sorry I thought you had checked out my post at the World Trade Center… Sorry
May 23, 2015 at 5:13 pm

May 24, 2015 at 1:13 pm
I don’t really know why, but when I saw the name I was expecting to find a picture of a cow. I was greatly disappointed. However, the bird is kind of cute too. ; ) Seriously, like always, I love your picture, disappearing fence and all.
May 24, 2015 at 2:55 pm
Well I’m glad you like the bird too. 🙂 Not sure if I’d ever post a cow but you never know!
May 24, 2015 at 5:10 pm
Herbivores need love too. They’re just so hard to cuddle. Lol.
May 24, 2015 at 5:44 pm
Aww they do! And yeah kinda hard to cuddle an egret 🙂
