Cattle Egret

Here’s another photo from the zoo.  This time it’s a Cattle Egret.  I actually shot this through a fence but was able to make the fence disappear in photoshop.  A little dash of this and that and magically it disappears.  Ssshhh….it’s an ancient secret.  😛

  9. Superb composition.

  10. I do wish I owned and could do photoshop!

  11. Very nice and well done. One of the things I hate is shooting thru a fence or taking a shot, but there are too many telephone wires in the way. They can totally mess up your shot. My program PSPX7 or Lightroom 5 can get rid of these things, but I would much rather not have to deal with them. 🙂

  12. The detail and tone of this image is striking. REally well done PB. Bravo!

  13. Oh to be back in the Bay Area…

  14. Georgie was just the pawn!

  15. Your ancient magic does create something truly beautiful and quite amazing…It is the kind of art that touches both the eye and the heart.

  20. Terrific photo, Laura. I especially like those wispy feathers on the far right.

  21. I don’t really know why, but when I saw the name I was expecting to find a picture of a cow. I was greatly disappointed. However, the bird is kind of cute too. ; ) Seriously, like always, I love your picture, disappearing fence and all.

  24. Nice image, Laura. A bird on a fence is worth two in the bush.
