Sometimes I search for older photos that I haven’t yet processed….you know, those ones you want to delete but you don’t because just maybe there is something you can do with them. Hope you’re all having a good Friday!

I’ve really been enjoying processing some of my summer florals in a dreamy way too this year 🙂 We’re having to make the most of the sunny days this summer as it’s been mostly grey and wet! Just driving up to Shropshire to see Simon’s mum for the weekend so I’m looking forward to a sunny forecast tomorrow to enjoy their gardens and all the birds 🙂

Sounds lovely! Except the rain. Can you please send some this way? We are in a terrible drought! Good news is that an El Nino is supposed to be here this fall/winter. We sure need it. Our flowers everywhere are looking rather parched. Have fun in their gardens and being with family. 🙂 Opa! lol
August 15, 2015 at 12:39 pm
You can certainly have some of ours!! Drought is not good 😦 You’ll have some pretty dramatic weather if El Niño comes. Gardens and wildlife have been wonderful today! It’s done me good 🙂 Wish it was a bit warmer though.

Maybe we will get some clouds! Funny how the world is so uneven with temperature.
August 17, 2015 at 3:51 pm
We wouldn’t have a climate for so much diverse flora and fauna around the world if we didn’t have all the uneven temperatures but I do wish the seasons could be a bit more stable!! I love good clouds 🙂 I was inspired in all art by the work of Ansel Adams who used clouds to absolute perfection in his landscape pieces!
August 17, 2015 at 4:23 pm
He did perfect clouds. Spring is the best time for clouds around here (and Yosemite). We used to have a vacation house 1 hour from Yosemite and on Sundays we’d go for brunch at the Ahwahnee Lodge. We’ll be there at Xmas! I hope I get some great pics then.
August 18, 2015 at 10:03 am
I dream of visiting Yosemite!! Perhaps you could do a photographic tribute to Adams? You should certainly have some dramatic skies at Christmas time 🙂 Hope you get to see plenty of wildlife too!
August 18, 2015 at 10:22 am
We will only be there two nights and one of them is a formal extravaganza called Bracebridge Dinner on Christmas! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUJtBjO-rfo Check it out Sarah. I can’t wait!

OMG! It’s like medieval England transported to the heart of the USA!! I’d want to be one of the performers 😉 Very reminiscent of Chaucers tales and Shakespeare comedy. Great fun 😀 Of course the floor should be covered in straw, the guests should be eating with their fingers and throwing the bones to the dogs!
August 18, 2015 at 10:48 am
YESS! I cannot wait for this! I’m cracking up … the floor should indeed not be so perfect 😛
August 18, 2015 at 11:04 am
There are places over here where you can go dressed up for a medieval banquet and they serve big meat platters, wine and ale all with entertainment. I haven’t been to one in ages!! There’s a brilliant place in London at St Katherine’s Docks 🙂 Dressing up and behaving like a tavern wench or a ladies maid is all part of the fun 😉

Isn’t it funny how that works? When you get lemons, make lemonade!
August 15, 2015 at 6:52 am
I love the blur effect, I wonder what it would like as a black and white? just a thought!
August 15, 2015 at 8:34 am
Thanks much. 🙂 Well…I dunno. I’m not a huge black and white fan although I have processed a few. Maybe I”ll give it a try.
