I always like to jump in and be a part of things, but sometimes it’s hard when I feel things are in a turmoil around me or within myself. And that’s what I adore about photography. No matter what’s going on, I can stop and have that moment of stillness and peace by appreciating Mother Nature even when it’s not a serene scene that I’m looking at. I don’t have to try and be a part of things or say or do the “right” thing. I just AM.

Stillness

I seem to love all your images and wish I had the wall space to purchase all. The one called “Conections” that I bought from you turned out just beautifully!!

True words, Laura and perfect to accompany your gorgeous image. I’ve never been to Yosemite in the winter -incredible.

I’m glad they rang true Jane. I’m wondering how many of us feel this way. After seeing Yosemite in the winter, I can honestly say that it’s one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen! We took Amtrak from Martinez to Merced and then a bus right to the valley floor. Much better than battling the snow driving. At least for us.

Beautiful photo, Laura. Like a fairytale 🙂 Agree with you there – with photography we can lose ourselves in the moment and forget about our troubles for a moment. There’s always more to life 🙂
