Journey of a body on this earth

Sea Cliff

While I was at the Presidio taking shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, I used my trusty rule of turning around 360 degrees to see what other photo opportunities there were.  Looking south of the Golden Gate, I saw the sun casting a beautiful light on an exclusive residential area of San Francisco above Baker Beach called Sea Cliff.  These homes have stunning views of the Golden Gate.  Can you imagine waking up and having coffee in the mornings overlooking this beautiful area?   It’s fun to dream.  🙂

  1. I used to live 20 miles north of SF. One of my favorite memories was being stuck on traffic on the Golden Gate bridge going to work and having my breath taken away from the glorious sunrises. 🙂

    Thanks for the reminder. 🙂

  2. Beautiful image Laura, the whole scene is bathed in warmth by that low evening sunlight…..very appealing.

  3. Spectacular light, beautiful image.

  4. What an amazing shot. Orange and the blues blended together. What a scenic view from high above and you must have felt on cloud nine 🙂

  5. Great time of day of the low-rent district. 😉

  6. Wow, Laura, your trusty 360 rule yielded you a lovely shot. I’m glad you taught me this too.
Blessings on your weekend ~ Wendy
