Here’s another one from Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge. Almost everything in the preserve is represented here with the exception of birds which we didn’t see many on our outing. You can see the salt pond to the left and right, scenic bridges, the red structures, marshy grass, beautiful light cast across the scenes, and the SF Bay peninsula hills off in the distance.
The red hut to the right you saw from inside a few posts ago, and the other structure to the left I’ve included in this post as well but from a different angle. I really want to go back in the morning sometime soon. What a fun place to take photos!

I didn’t know you can walk out on to those marshes… Imagine how dry the wood of the shack is from the salt…
June 17, 2016 at 11:36 am
Yes there are paths and bridges everywhere. I hadn’t thought about the dryness.

Your wonderful images led me to some research on this refuge. What an incredible place and one to remember should I get to travel to the opposite coast.
When not if, right? 🙂

Yes, WHEN! 🙂 It really is a pretty spot. I’m going to get back there as the sun rises. I think it would be magic!
