Today is my five-year anniversary with Word Press! Happy Anniversary to me! 🙂
I created my account in 2011 but never posted anything until November 2012 right before my first knee replacement. The blog was created for the sole purpose to update friends and family on the progress of my surgery, but in early 2013 it morphed into a photography blog in the early days of my photography hobby with my first DSLR.
THANK YOU EVERYONE for taking the time to read my blog and make comments, and for being here to share yours as well! Our community is very special to me and while I go through spurts when I’m here more times than others, this is still my most favorite social media outlet of them all because it’s all of you who make it special. A truly one-of-a-kind community!

Ha ha! Yeah, I had to figure it out for my comment but it’s easy to calculate as I started my blog just a couple of weeks after I emigrated.

Yes I am. But. OH. MY. GOODNESS. It does not take pics as I am used to on my other one and now I have to start all over from scratch to learn where the sweet spots are on this one, and how to make my macros look as good if not better then what I was creating. Holy moly!! LOVE the way it feels in my hands and responds. Love it! I’m too darn nervous around it right now to use it right. It’s like HUH have I used a camera before? Let me think about this. I’m all thumbs. Tee hee ……

That’s how I felt with my new Sony. And it is completely different than my Nikon. You’ll get it! All thumbs lol. Somehow I envision the strangest cartoon!

LOL You have no idea how I fumble. I missed out on a great opportunity trying to capture a dramatic sky properly all because I forgot to change the f/stop. Duh! Honestly, you would think I have never handled a Canon before. LOL
