Sometimes She’s Bold

Woah…I posted this at first without text…inadvertently.  I’m having some WP issues today!

I did want to say that this image was taken from Fort Baker on the northern side of the Golden Gate Bridge.  The light was awful if you can believe it. The bridge was almost silhouetted!   Just goes to show what Photoshop can do on a RAW image.

Here I was experimenting with blending modes and selections, so this is what I ended up with!

Fly Me to the Moon

I am totally addicted to the supermoon!  And I keep singing all kinds of songs to do with the moon.  So while you’re viewing these photos, you can click on this link and listen to a bit of Frank Sinatra!

A little about these images…they are not composite images.  Not that I think anything is wrong with creating artful photos but I’ve been asked this about the photos on Facebook and thought you might like to know.  They were taken from the Pleasanton Ridge in the east bay on Saturday and also from Walnut Creek toward Mt. Diablo on Sunday.  Both days I used my Nikon D750 with the 28-300mm lens.  A lot of these are aggressively cropped.

I put my favorite photo first independent of the gallery below which contains the rest of the images.  Hope you enjoy them!

Tonight I’m going out for the Supermoon.  Hope I get something decent!  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
