I’ve been sifting through some old images and thought I’d share one that I’ve redone. I’m on the upswing here with this cold, so I will be out shooting once again soon!
Happy Easter Sunday everyone!
There are a few things that remind me of Easter….bunnies, colored eggs and lilies. Since I’m fresh out of the first two, I thought I’d share with you some lilies I photographed the other day.
My step-daughter brought me these beautiful lilies and I put them in a glass vase in front of one of our picture windows that overlooks our beautiful view. Just outside the window we have a lemon tree from which we’ve (or I should say my husband has) made a few yummy chicken dishes.
I thought the lilies looked really pretty with the lemons hanging just beyond the window. Hope everyone has a great Sunday! Thank you Cindy for the beautiful flowers!
It’s that time again! Monochrome Madness is in the air. This week’s submission was taken from a flower on our new back deck. I converted it to black and white via Nik SEP2 and did some work on it in Photoshop. One thing I’m playing around with lately is overlaying textures. I used one for this image and I think it subtly enhances it.
Our Monochrome Madness gallery will be shown on Leanne Cole’s blog in a few hours, so please check it out when you can. There are always such amazing entries! Her blog can be found here. http://leannecolephotography.com/.
