This was taken in the Tracy Arm, Alaska last year. The glacier there is quite large like everything in Alaska. We were lucky to hear and see pieces of the glacier fall into the bay. What an incredible place!! It’s another image I reworked. I’m really noticing that I don’t like my older images. lol. Maybe I can rework some old ones while I recover. 🙂
I’ve been kind of busy here and haven’t had time to take any new pictures, so I went back into some pictures and found a sunrise from Alaska that I took from our cabin veranda. I loved Alaska!
Ok, so I’m just a tad excited. We’re leaving for Alaska tomorrow morning. Yay! Right now I’m taking a break from packing my suitcase. Oy! It’s always such an ordeal getting all my little bottles together, the right lipsticks, the right tops and bottoms and formal attire for the formal nights, hiking boots, glittery shoes for evening, ipad charger, purses, hats, gloves, fleece vest, swimsuit for the hot tub/pool area, LOL…you get the idea. It’s kind of a mixed bag of what to bring on this trip, so I have to bring a little of everything.
I just checked the weather and it seems like typical Alaska weather this time of year…some rain, some sun but not cold. Hurray! I did bring some warm things to wear just in case, especially since we’ll be up in helicopters and in a 4×4 in the wilderness. And a waterproof/windproof jacket.
My camera has its very own suitcase now, by the way. I’ll be rolling it on as a carry on. Fortunately I didn’t have to buy a separate seat for it. 🙂
OMG, I am so excited. See you in little over a week! It’s been 8 months since my knee replacement and I’m living life once again. 🙂
