Coastal Dreams

I could live on the coast here in California.  Unfortunately the price to live on the coast is cost-prohibitive not to mention some of the most beautiful places have no housing.  Thank goodness!  At least there is some place you can go without development.   Oh and not to mention how expensive it is when you do see homes on the coast.  Living in California is expensive period!

But honestly, sometimes it’s nice to keep things a dream because they will never be taken for granted.  I will always see the coast here as mesmerizing, ever-changing in color and mood, and inspiring.

Shark Fin Cove at Sunset

I took my camera club down to Shark Fin Cove the other day and we had such fun!  The sunset wasn’t as dramatic as I had hoped but you never know when it comes to the California Coast, especially around these parts.

The first image you see is a long exposure panorama.  I used my 24-120mm lens and five vertical shots stitched in Lightroom to create it.  The second one was 1 shot taken with my 14-24mm lens and the last one was 1 shot with my 24-120mm lens.   * I’m kinda bummed that for some reason these images didn’t come out that clear after posting them here but I’m too tired to deal with it now lol. *

Once in awhile I enjoy trying my hand at textures.  It’s all a work in progress but of course that’s what’s so fun about post processing!  I love puzzles and that’s how I think it is sometimes….figuring out what works best and in what order.  I’m a far cry from figuring out textures, that’s for sure but I do have fun trying.  🙂
