I loved how the light came through these pine trees and wondered how I could present this shot of a sand trap and trees more uniquely. But of course….Topaz Impression! You can take an average shot and make something very cool out of it. I really should get a sponsorship from Topaz as much as I toot their horn lol.
I haven’t taken a bracketed photo in awhile so I thought I’d go out last night and try it out on my new camera. It’s really cool how you can control the number of shots and the bracketed exposure with the command and sub-command dials and see it right on the LCD screen! It’s so convenient. I can take up to 9 shots, but I took 5 for this image.
I processed it in Nik HDR and I’m loving my new technique of removing halos. I really don’t like halos in HDR and I can see them now so easily because I look at a lot of these images. Maybe it’s me but I really love figuring out how to fix things like this. I think it’s my favorite thing about photoshop!
Lately I’ve been in the mood for a laugh. 😀 Awhile ago I had taken a photo of these golfing frogs and converted it into B&W. These little guys have been tucked away in a folder on my computer for a couple months I think. Believe it or not, I did quite a bit of work on this one. This is one of those images that I saw in B&W but converting it wasn’t easy.
The entire challenge can be found later on Leanne Cole’s Site “Monochrome Madness” so please check it out.
