Ahoy NYK Line!

I really love my Sony but even more I love the 16-35mm 2.8 lens I used for this image.  It takes such sharp pictures!  It’s the perfect combination for travel in my opinion.  It’s great for landscapes and architecture.  Sometimes I catch it in an “in between” distance and I struggle then, but I like to only carry one lens with me unless I’m in a car traveling around.  Mirrorless cameras are so light and convenient for travel.  I loved that I didn’t have to carry my Nikon on this Port of Oakland tour….although don’t get me wrong, I do love my Nikon.

I’ve been reading about other camera technologies and there is an interesting one coming out called Light.  Have you heard about it?  It’s compact much like a smartphone although more powerful.  The idea is that it has multiple lenses built in and takes multiple pictures with all the lenses at the same time and then puts the picture together a 52 mp resolution image.  I thought it was interesting technology and makes me wonder where technology is heading with regard to attaching lenses to cameras.   Check it out!  https://www.light.co/camera
