Last post I short-changed everyone by not having the before image for you to compare against the processed one, so here’s another image I saved from deletion by processing it in Photoshop. This time I have the “before”!
By the way, this was processed entirely in Photoshop with no filter plugins except for noise reduction with Topaz Denoise.
When I started this blog back in December 2012, I only had the intention of sharing my knee replacement journey and the physical accomplishments I would make along the way. Once I started to feel better and get out and about, I started realizing that looking through a viewfinder was becoming an important part of my journey and my life.
Here are some 2013 highlights! C’mon…you know you want to see them again. 😛
One of the best pieces of advice I received as a new photographer was to always shoot in RAW format. I was able to extract the salmon from this photo because I shot in RAW, otherwise the photo would’ve merely shown murky water with shadows of fish. Just click and scroll down a bit on this link and you’ll see the salmon. https://lauramacky.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/tongas-forest-in-alaska/
This post is near and dear to my heart. It’s my five month progress report for my knee replacement. Via WordPress stats, I can see this post is still viewed, and it makes me happy people still find it informative. https://lauramacky.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/five-month-report/
Lastly (if you’ve made it this far, lol)……thank you for supporting me!
Here’s a crazy thing I did in Photoshop….just having some fun, plus this post needed an image LOL!
