Journey of a body on this earth

Before and After (2 images)

Last post I short-changed everyone by not having the before image for you to compare against the processed one, so here’s another image I saved from deletion by processing it in Photoshop.  This time I have the “before”!

By the way, this was processed entirely in Photoshop with no filter plugins except for noise reduction with Topaz Denoise.

Year 2013 on Speed

When I started this blog back in December 2012, I only had the intention of sharing my knee replacement journey and the physical accomplishments I would make along the way.  Once I started to feel better and get out and about, I started realizing that looking through a viewfinder was becoming an important part of my journey and my life.

Here are some 2013 highlights!   C’mon…you know you want to see them again.  😛

The most liked post is the a recent one of the San Francisco Bay Bridge at night…it was my first nighttime long exposure and it seemed to be well received:

The most commented post is the Pigeon Point Lighthouse image….I think this photo represents when I started using my wide angle lens in a more effective manner:

This post reminds me of how important it is to have your camera ready

One of the best pieces of advice I received as a new photographer was to always shoot in RAW format.  I was able to extract the salmon from this photo because I shot in RAW, otherwise the photo would’ve merely shown murky water with shadows of fish.  Just click and scroll down a bit on this link and you’ll see the salmon.

This post is near and dear to my heart.  It’s my five month progress report for my knee replacement.  Via WordPress stats, I can see this post is still viewed, and it makes me happy people still find it informative.

Lastly (if you’ve made it this far, lol)……thank you for supporting me!

Here’s a crazy thing I did in Photoshop….just having some fun, plus this post needed an image LOL!
