Journey of a body on this earth

SF Photowalk

Yesterday I took my camera club for an architectural photowalk in SF.  We started at the Embarcadero and meandered around the area.  I’ve barely looked at the images because I’m a bit busy today but did quickly work on this one a few minutes ago so I thought I’d post it.

Walking around a city shooting pictures isn’t something I’m used to….in fact I can’t remember the last time I did this so it was quite a challenge for me to see things in this way.  I’m more of a landscape-flower girl but really enjoyed the challenge!  It’s good to get out and stretch ourselves once in awhile me thinks. 🙂

SQUARES – Monochrome Madness

For a few months I’ve wanted to take a photo at this construction site because of the geometric patterns or should I say “squares”…or should I say almost squares lol.  Finally, on my way to the gym Sunday morning, I stopped to take this photo.

Please check out Leanne Cole’s blog later for the entire gallery.

“Nicely Seen”

Okay, so I have one last image from our trip to Stinson Beach.  (I can’t stop myself from posting these!!)

I’ve often posted the words “nicely seen” on people’s images because they aren’t straight up landscape shots or straight up portraits.  The angle, or the crop or something about the image makes it unique and different.

Sometimes I have a tendency to think about what’s out in the distance rather than what’s right in front of me….
