Journey of a body on this earth

The Look of Love

It’s been crazy busy here, and I’m sorry to say that in the next couple weeks my posts will dwindle a bit because of this.  Life happens sometimes!  I’ll try to keep current by either reblogging or posting a pic here and there, if I can manage to take one that is.

Yesterday I did manage to get a shot of some turkeys that were gobbling and standing on the side of the street near our house. I think these males are trying to attract a female.  Hmm…I hope they weren’t eying me!  Somehow the thought of chestnut stuffing came to mind.  😉

Flowers in the Evening

Last night we were admiring some flowers given to us as we relaxed on our deck.  The day had been a warm spring day and the sun was just going down behind the hills casting a beautiful light on the flowers.  They looked so nice there that I had to grab my camera.  Also included here is a shot of the tree that was behind the flowers.  It also had a nice glow on its bark and thought it made a nice image.

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

Hope of Spring

Almost every day I drive by an empty lot and I’ve always admired the beautiful oak trees there.  However, with no rain for a long time, it was not very interesting and very brown.  That all changed though with our few days of rain a week ago, and the other day when I drove by I noticed how lush it looked with the tall, green grass.  It smelled sooo good!  Birds were chirping, the sun was glistening, and I couldn’t resist this shot.
