You know how I love the Golden Gate right? I actually like bridges in general but this bridge I can’t help but be drawn to. There are so many angles you can take this bridge from that I think it’s almost endless. The day I was out here with a friend from Colorado there wasn’t a breath of wind! It was incredible!
This little guy was begging for his photo to be taken….or maybe it was food he was after. 😉

What a great background! He or she gave you its best side for its portrait. 🙂 I never tire of this bridge either. I love the warmth in this image too.

Thank you! The seagull definitely was cooperative wasn’t it. 🙂 The light was actually really difficult and I pulled it out in LR. Gotta love shooting raw!

I’ve seen many pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge (almost as many as those of Table Mountain in Cape Town but I haven’t seen the bridge pictures from down under? Isn’t that a challenge for you Laura??? ❤ 😉
November 12, 2016 at 6:43 am
Oh you know it is Herman. I was only down there for a minute or two though. 😉
November 12, 2016 at 8:38 am

Maybe that little bird was a bit of a preener and just loves having his photos taken 😉 Very well done, very soft and warm overall. That is lovely to hear that there was no wind by the water when you walked past. Very pleasant 🙂
November 12, 2016 at 6:45 am
I think you’re right…he’s a bit of a ham. (Another saying for you Mabel.) I’ve not noticed until now that I seem to use a lot of them! Thank you as always for your comments. 🙂

What a poser. Must be the brother or sister of the one I posted last week. But my bridge is definitely smaller and unknown to most people. Gorgeous photograph, Laura and technically perfect. Love it! Smiles. Reinhold

Oh! I just saw your bird in fact. Loved that image! I’m so glad you like this one. I was excited when I saw him sitting there. He was preening for awhile and I kept waiting. He finally decided to check me out. Thank you for your kind comment. 🙂

I love that bridge, I used to take it everyday, now I take its poor cousin the Richmond San Rafael everyday
November 12, 2016 at 6:50 am
Me too Juan. I like the poor cousin too though. I really want to walk out on the new path. I wish they did Segway tours.
November 12, 2016 at 7:56 am
I walked it once to where it ended, now that’s a walk… it goes for ever!
November 12, 2016 at 12:43 pm
I heard it is 3 miles!
November 12, 2016 at 2:01 pm
I think that’s the bridge alone, I walked from where the path started at IKEA… I did it three times
November 12, 2016 at 8:07 pm
Gotcha. I really want to do it sometime.
November 12, 2016 at 12:43 pm

Seagulls aren’t my favorite bird but I like this photo because of the back ground and the bird’s pose.
November 12, 2016 at 6:52 am
I agree. I’ve hardly taken any photos of seagulls. I was hoping for the pelicans that are sometimes on this pier but it worked out well. Thanks as always for your comments!

Oops! I’m in the process of switching my blogging efforts from PC to iPad. Blame it on finger trouble and auto-correct. It’s meant to read:
A couple of the more interesting pictures I have seen of this bridge. I do like the gull. 🙂

Oh haha…that happens to me too. Usually I can figure it out! Thanks for posting the non-auto-corrected version. 🙂
